Antenatal visits are one of the best ways to keep mother and baby healthy. Here are five questions worth asking your health worker:

  1. How is my baby growing, and is everything on track?
  2. What warning signs mean I should come in immediately?
  3. Which supplements, tests or vaccines do I need?
  4. What should I eat and avoid during this pregnancy?
  5. Where should I go when labour begins, and how will I get there?

Write your questions down and bring a partner or relative if you can.
